I Do Not Trust David Axelrod after what he did yesterday...
I posted a couple of months ago that I believed that someone in Obama's campaign was giving him bum advice that was really designed to help Karl Rove with his plan to divide and conquer the Democrats, by decreasing Obama's strength which is his universal appeal and his ability to bring people together and starting a fist fight with Hillary that would divide the party and result in a Brokered Democratic Convention that would tear the party apart.

After what Axelrod did yesterday--making more baseless accusations about Hillary--you know, the "She will do anything because she is an evil witch queen and she has laser beam eyes and I dont need proof because we all know it is true" statements to the Huffington Post on the eve of Obama's all important unity speech---I worry that Axelrod is not working for Obama. Not for his run for the president anyway.

This is just a worry, but it is really nagging at me. A couple of years ago, Mayor Daley in Chicago got in big trouble over the way that trucker jobs were awarded. An aid went to jail. It is being appealed. The feds were after Daley, too.

I am a paranoid SOB, but given the way the DOJ and Rove work, I can not help wondering, what if Daley cut a deal that his guy Axelrod would set up Obama and use him per Rove's specifications, turning his bright and shining campaign into a dirty, nasty brawl.

The Obama campaign was going so well and then it changed after New Hampshire. The entire tone changed. I don't think it was Obama's idea. What if it was Axelrod's?

The way they are going now, Obama could get the nomination but end up hurting so many feelings that he might actually lose to McCain the way that McGovern lost in 1972.

Anyway, it is just a nagging worry. I am going to keep my eye on Axelrod. Maybe he is just dumb. But I thought he was supposed to be smart.

I really liked Obama for a long time, and it makes no sense that he would seem to change so much. The MSM isn't portraying him differently. However, if his campaign manager was giving him bum advice, that would make him look like a different candidate.

12. I Lost Respect for Axelrod...
I lost respect for Axelrod when he accused Hillary Clinton of playing a part in Benazir Bhutto's murder.

2. Since when does "baseless accusations" mean...
observable truth? I think it's possible that you are more than just a "paranoid SOB."

4. Are you Axelrod? I said it was just a nagging worry. Lighten up. He could be dumb.
I said that too. However, since this campaign is obviously being manipulated by the MSM and the right wing, we have to be ready for any kind of dirty tricks. They fed drugs to Muskie ! Who would have expected that?

3. gotta wonder why Axelrod would detract from the speech
The talking heads were pondering that today. Why would someone in the campaign step on Obama's message du jour?

8. Did Axelrod also write Ferraro and his grandmother into the speech?
Obama is hard wired for this sh*t.

New Hampshire was a long time ago. Obama knew what his campaign was all about. He was a willing participant. No problems until Michelle started running her mouth and the Repukes discovered Wright.

It's Obama's life, not some campaign manager's betrayal.

7. Axelrod is a terrible human being. He has smeared two great Americans as part of his
sick quest for power. He was the one who first injected race into this campaign. I now look at Axelrod like I look at Karl Rove and I have begun to look at Barack Obama like I look at George W. Bush. Even my brother, who has chastised me for my intention to vote for McCain over Obama, has said that he sees Obama as being a lot like Bush.

10. My husband says the same thing.
He's had it with this election, so much so that he can't even watch the news any longer.

He just adores Hillary, and is sickened by what the media has portrayed her as.

11. It's been a despicable campaign of personal destruction, the likes of which America has not seen
since 1884 when the Republicans accused Grover Cleveland of having fathered an illegitimate child.

Have you and your husband been to Hillary's website? It's great. There's a place there where you can go "volunteer on-line." It allows you to make phone calls from home to voters in Pennsylvania. Or other states. It's one way of getting involved.
