Is God Damning America Already ??
Worse than locusts, we have been plagued with George W Bush for over 7 years. We have been attacked. We are now going thru the second "recession" of his Presidency. Some are forecasting that this may be the worst since the Great Depression? Our troops are bogged down in two wars - at least one which was totally unnecessary. Our country is deeply divided. Our nation has gone into debt so immensely that we are literally broke. Even banks are failing. We have lost almost 4000 soldiers and Marines in Iraq. We have wreaked destruction on that country. We have lost whatever moral standing we had in the world. Yet, like Chinese water torture, we are forced to listen to George W Bush on the television bragging about what a great job he has done in the last 7 years. The Pentagon cheers. The people suffer on. Some might argue that God has damned America already?

6. You reap what you sow. Karma is a bitch. Close cover before striking.
All say the same thing.

(That last line came from "The Great White Hype," a movie I've been quoting a lot to friends of mine lately, though not because of any racial element.)

7. The USSC foisted George Walker Bush onto America.
I see the point you are trying to make though. I'm just one who thinks God neither damns, nor blesses America. ;-)

8. I do not fear Moby Dick - I fear the wrath of God.
Starbuck, first mate: It is an evil voyage, I tell thee. If Ahab has his way, neither thee nor me, nor any member of this ship's company will ever see home again.

Stubb: Aw, come on, Mr. Starbuck, you're just plain gloomy. Moby Dick may be big, but he ain't THAT big.

Starbuck, first mate: I do not fear Moby Dick - I fear the wrath of God.

Shain from kane: It is an evil voyage, I tell thee. If Bush* has his way, neither thee nor me, nor any citizen of this country will ever see peace again.

Freeper: Aw, come on, Shain from kane, you're just plain gloomy. The Iraq fiasco may be big, but it ain't THAT big.

Shain from kane: I do not fear the Iraq fiasco - I fear the wrath of God.
