Contract for America II?
I know this has already been suggested, but why doesn't Pelosi run the House races on a national scale in the same way Gingrich did for the Repugs ten years ago? We can't run on differant messages in differant regions, otherwise it'll be 2002 all over again. Besides party unity on the POTUS level, we need party unity on the Congressional level.

1. I agree.
What kind of proposals would be in a Contract with America? Also, we'd need a title that subtly but effectively attacked Bush and Delay. Something like... "Non-doofuses for America." But I jest.

* Reduced deficit by half. We can't balance the budget in two years, let alone four, with all the damage Bush has done. But we can promise to reduce the deficit and get on the right track.

My mind is too frazzled at the moment to think of any more...
