Imagine you're a super delegate. What is your reaction if Hillary Clinton
attempts an end run around the DNC by filing suit in state or federal court regarding the Michigan and Florida delegates?

1. Superdelegates exist to safeguard the party; enfranchising voters does that
None of this is as simplistic as you want to make it.

3. So you don't think superdelegates would be really pissed at her ignoring the party structure?
If she didn't like the procedures, why hasn't she spoken up before now?

8. That's funny
So then you agree that Superdelegates overturning the pledged delegates and thus disenfranchising ALL the voters is not what they are there to do?

So why is Hillary still running?

10. Their job is to further a Democratic win as late as the convention
They aren't what you think they are. If should Obama self-destruct before the convention, you can guarantee the superdelegates won't worry about overturning Iowa caucus-goers.

4. It depends on what kind of SD I am.
Do I put the DLC before the Dem party, or the Dem party before the DLC?

5. So you are against the court system protecting the rights of citizens?
A Democrat against the right to redress in court? Sad.

6. I'd say its not my business to judge or intervene
Super delegates, unless they're representatives of those states, have no say in a state level issue such as this.

Bottom line, the Dems who voted in those states have a right to have their votes counted, period. And like it or not, voters from Michigan and Florida will be voting in the GE.

7. I wouldn't be keen on that level of trying to change the rules after the game was over
Ambition over rules? I might be damned concerned that such attitude might also lead to ambition over rule of law, and frankly, I have had more than enough of THAT the past 7+ years.

9. Good point. Note that the ambition is cloaked with cries of voters' rights.
My dad keeps asking about the rights of the voters in the 48 states that followed the rules.

11. I doubt the passion for the voters of MI and FL would be the same
if they had voted the other way.

Leave no stone unthrown is NOT a good campaign doctrine.
