did about winning house, senate, and gubernatorial seats.

Convince me that under a Hillary nomination (and presidency) we won't see similar Democratic losses in Congress.

2. We recently picked up Hastert's seat following heavy ads featuring Obama; also,
refer yourself to the '06 midterms, where every dem and their mother had Obama speak and fundraise for them.

4. Past performance and all that.....
I don't think he's the pristine guy he once was. And Haster'ts seat was a local seat....hardly comparable to nationwide results.

6. Yeah, if Obama is elected it will be by the narrowest of margins - and he will
not have coattails... and will only lose support through his term in office.

Bill was at least elected to a second term. Obama ---- very doubtful.

9. Riddle me this.. why do Hillary supporters
always answer a question.. even the simple ones.. with another question.
It's like the nananapoopoo silly argumentative tactics of 2nd graders.
It's really a curious phenomenon.

10. Because the OP is is built on the false premise that Obama will not suffer losses

11. There was nothing Obama about the question. Take a look.
Edited on Wed Mar-19-08 02:15 PM by C_U_L8R
It's pretty clear he/she was asking... what would Hillary do differently so as
to not lose Congress - just like Bill did? That's not a false premise at all...
it's a real concern validated by fact.

Now I doubt anyone has the answer what Hillary would do differently...
and Hillary certainly hasn't been campaigning on the length of her coattails...
but still it's a legitimate question and a lingering unanswered question at that.

13. Why would it be an issue to Obama supporters, unless the OP believes that
Obama won't suffer the same fate as Bill?

15. Even if my premise is false (which it isn't), why not answer my question?
Edited on Wed Mar-19-08 02:42 PM by Unsane
I would be more likely to support Hillary should I believe she wouldn't kill our majority.

18. That's simply a lie
that hasn't campaigned for any Democrats since joining the Senate. I don't know people think making shit up is acceptable.

14. remember Newt's "republican revolution" and contract with america....that was thanks to Bill
with another Clinton in office, we can be assured that the reich wing would get motivated and take over for another 12 years.
