I would strongly advise any diabetics listening to it for the first time to inject a hefty bolus of insulin. I am flabbergasted by the plaudits. It terms of its schmaltzy, self-serving, cover-your-assery it makes the ‘Checkers’ spiel sound like the Gettysburg Address.
I note the panegyrics here with interest. I have visions of multitudinous cabals of Obanmites feverishly arriving at the following conclusion:

Second, I love how half the people trying to trash Obama's speech are doing it by calling it ass covering, and the other half are trashing it because he refused to take the easy way out and cover his ass by throwing Wright under the bus. Let me help you guys out. What you just saw in that speech that has you so confused and disoriented is called honesty and integrity. It has been absent from the upper levels of politics in the nation for quite a while now, so your systems might need a while to identify and process it properly. Once that happens then try to go back and review the multitudes of people heaping praise on what Obama did and you'll have better luck understanding why they're doing it.
