3. Actually, what I heard was a week or more ago.
After the last state, there is talk that the Supers are going to come out in support of the their candidate of choice. With the most likely support going to the candidate with the most Pledged Delegates. That way this could be put to bed before the convention, and our presumptive nominee could start, with the help of the party, a full onslaught to take the Pukes down. I don't really see anything wrong if they want to all lend their support like that.

5. DNC spokesperson says Dean does not endorse that idea.
I saw one article where Bredesen said Dean said to go for it.

But the DNC says no, he does not.

http://www.kxmc.com/News/220796.asp

"NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) -- The idea of having a primary among superdelegates isn't gaining a lot of traction.

A spokeswoman said Democratic National Committee chairman Howard Dean doesn't endorse the idea.

Tennessee Governor Phil Bredesen first proposed the idea in an opinion piece in Wednesday's editions of The New York Times, but he acknowledged that a superdelegate primary doesn't have a chance of becoming a reality if it is not run by the DNC.

Bredesen said Democrats will suffer in November if a nominee isn't decided until the party's August convention.

Bredesen himself is a superdelegate and undecided in the race between Barack Obama and Hillary Rodham Clinton."
