Perplexed...........just plain and simply perplexed

Yes, that describes it, folks. They remind me of a farmer trying to rid the rats from the corn silo. As long as the food was there, they stuck around and fed off the loose morsels. Once the food was removed, the rats scattered off into other territories.

So, as I sit here perplexed as to how to regain normalcy, I am thinking the food needs to be taken from the silo. Someones corn will be whisked away to Denver then moving all over the nation in a large bus with an entourage of reporters. The rats should scatter away, at least for a while.

Then, will probably return closer to fall harvest scrambling for morsels once again. So, do we remove the rats now? If we ignore them, they feed off of each other.

Now, if another farmer had a corn silo and his corn buyers wanted to debate our corn buyers, I would welcome that. I truly enjoy a good debate. But the rats infest the corn of both farmers.

I am beginning to think the rats bothering the two corn silos nearby are from a distant field, being sent to not only disrupt the upcoming corn sale but also the fall harvest.

The alert button next to the silo seems to deter them for a while, until they become hungry again and return.

Since we currently have no other method of protecting our corn, we need to hit that alert button.
