Obama contradiction from yesterdays speech |
|
has been posted numerous times today on DU their source ABCnews.com,
they have been using the article to say that Obama contradicted himself, now this is the spin from the article but no one has answered me where is the contradiction, so I am going to ask one more time by starting my own thread.
from the article
"Did I ever hear him make remarks that could be considered controversial while I sat in church? Yes," he said in his speech yesterday in Philadelphia."
"His initial reaction to the initial ABC News broadcast of Rev. Wright's sermons denouncing the U.S. was that he had never heard his pastor of 20 years make any comments that were anti-U.S. until the tape was played on air."
again where is the contradiction?
controversial means anti-american, so if its not anti-usa then its not controversial?

1. He just said the controversial stuff he heard was the Pastor being blunt about infidelity. |

2. I know but Hill supporters are using the quotes I posted that he was untruthful |
|

4. NOw people are just going to point something else that they "consider" to be controversial |
|
and try to hammer it on that. He should just leave it at controversial, and they can interpret it how they want. (although I haven't heard what he said myself, so there's a grain of salt)

and both factual.
I really don't know why is this tying so many brains up in knots?
edited: to be less snotty.

5. let me give you an example |
|
Obama is in Church.
Wright says " I saw people committing adultery in the car, fucking like bunny rabbits"
Obama hears Wright saying something controversial, but doesn't hear him say anything anti-US.

6. Here's the glitch. His statements on the Friday dump were made to |
|
exculpate him from ALL THE STUFF WE HAD BEEN EXPOSED TO from the Wright repertoire.
Either he was outright lying or PARSING WORDS.
