Clinton Calls General Petraeus an "Extraordinary Leader"
Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton gave a relatively rare shout-out to the military’s top man in Baghdad, General David Petraeus, calling him “an extraordinary leader and a wonderful advocate for our military.”

21. She'll never be able to pull it off. Impressions of her are totally ingrained.
She will be seen as pandering, and there goes that strategy.

4. Sooner or later, Obama will have to do the same thing.
This will be a necessary move to distance himself from the MoveOn "General Betray Us" ad, which Obama did not vote on the condemnation of the ad in the Senate.

Hillary voted NOT to condemn MoveOn, citing the First Amendment.

That's the stupidest thing I've read today.

10. You don't understand the value of praising Petraeus to enhance his chances in the GE?
Okay. If you think that's the stupidest thing you've read today, I'm not impressed with your political acumen.

At least I hope I do.

6. OK, so Petraeus was on TV today
And I knew Hillary was saying she wanted to start pulling troops within 60 days. So, my conclusion is, he is agreeing with her and is probably willing to get the troops out in 60 days. Has anyone thought about this reasoning logically?

17. Hillary has given WAY too much praise to the Rethugs lately
At this point I can't give her the benefit of the doubt. But I'm open minded and she could change my mind if she attacks McCain all out. Unfortunately I don't think that will happen. :-(

8. Petraeus is not an extraordinary leader.
Barack Obama is an extraordinary leader.

David Petraeus is just an empty uniform, with George Bush's and Dick Cheney's hands up his ass.

14. I don't understand why people can't be willing
to work across party lines to get things done. If he is willing to pull the troops out in 60 days or start the process, why would people criticize him? I mean, Clinton's plan is to start in 60 days.

Has he stated that Hilary Clinton is an extraordinary leader and a wonderful advocate for our military?

Or did he just stand there looking like an extraordinary leader?

She always praises people like this, McCain, Patreus, but never says the 2nd part, which is that their policies aren't working.

Patreus says that most insurgencies last more than 10 years.

Does she think that Patreus is right, and we might have to be there another 5-6 years?

27. Okay now I really really really really really really know she's not fit to be CinC
ROTFFLMFAO! How could anyone mistake an inveterate brown noser with an "extraordinary leader and a wonderful advocate for our military"? Unless they were an inveterate brown noser themself without a clue about leadership.

She is totally clueless and would make a absurd CinC. Another Grand Strategic clusterfuck like Bush is all we need.

Hillary, my advice. STFU, you're clueless. I've got more respect for the toilet paper after wiping my ass, than I have for Petraeus.

Warning: This post contains subject matter which may be offensive to hillbots who are afraid to think for themselves.

31. ROTFFLMFAO, I disagree
Edited on Thu Mar-20-08 02:20 AM by PerfectSage
So how do you explain how Hillary the Inevitable wound up in 2nd place at this point in time?
So who's to blame? Could it just be that Hillary is an incompetent cluster####?

Jeeper's she love's Petraeus brown nosing leadership style. ROTFFLMFAO Absurdist commedy at it's best. Christ all ####ing mighty, I have respect for Hillary's ambition and no respect for her integrity. But, now I have no respect for her intellect. Maybe she was lying through her teeth, so I can still respect her intellect, but still have contempt for her integrity? ROTFFLMFAO So where the #### would Petraeus, rank among the greatest military commanders of all time? ROTFFLMFAO

I admit I'm coming across as a smartass, but I don't care. Cuz this is a subject that is dear to my heart, that I've researched and thought over deeply. Hillary is nuts. I don't care if you disagree or disagree. Petraeus is useless pos who couldn't beat up his dick if I gave him a jarful of jergens and a fistful of viagra.

Gobama!
Go Dean's 50 State Strategy!
Go Grassroots!
