Newsweek: An uncluttered calendar. Clinton's schedules reveal curious deletions.
http://www.newsweek.com/id/124271

The early days of 1996 were tense times inside the Clinton White House. On Jan. 4, the First Couple's top personal aide reported that she had stumbled upon Hillary Clinton's long-lost Rose Law Firm billing records—documents that had been requested by Whitewater prosecutors two years earlier. Ken Starr quickly subpoenaed the First Lady to testify before a federal grand jury, leading to her historic four-hour appearance at the U.S. District Courthouse in Washington on Jan. 26 of that year.

But anybody looking through Hillary Clinton's newly released White House records for clues as to how she handled this personal crisis will find … absolutely nothing. The more than 10,000 pages, released by the National Archives in response to a Freedom of Information Act lawsuit, purport to be the New York senator's daily schedules for her entire eight-year tenure as First Lady—the first major "document dump" from the Clinton Library in Little Rock.

But the documents include only Hillary Clinton's public schedules, not her private calendar. And even those appear to be heavily redacted to exclude almost anything that might be of interest to historians and the inevitable posse of "oppo" researchers. The January 1996 records show Hillary Clinton appearing on "The Oprah Winfrey Show" and numerous other TV and radio shows to promote her just-published book, "It Takes a Village." But they show no meetings whatsoever about the Rose Law firm billing records, no sessions with her lawyers to prepare for her grilling by Starr. The calendar for Jan. 26, 1996—the day crowds of reporters and TV cameramen gathered at the courthouse to watch Hillary Clinton enter and exit the grand jury—is totally blank. "NO public schedule," it states simply, wiping out any reference to one of the more embarrassing public episodes of the First Lady's days in the White House.

And the article continues at the link...

Whitewashing? From one who supposedly insists on "Transparent Government"? There are going to be quite alot of questions that the media is going to want answered, assuming they do their job. Perhaps finally, the real vetting of Clinton is about to happen.

1. It's ironic that I remember when Clinton was on Oprah
now her supporters have thrown Oprah under the bus.

3. I was actually surprised how much the media has been pouring over the thousands of pages...
So far from what I have seen out on the various news sites, a number of her claims are being debunked one after another after another.

Now it's time to get that 2006 income tax return out... tick tick tick

4. The Clinton-hating media is on another fishing expedition.
You can count on them to try to make a mountain out of every mole, and to find the possibility of dark conspiracy in the unremarkable fact that she wasn't someplace on a certain day.

Hillary is releasing more private information than Nancy Reagan or Barbara Bush ever released or ever will. Eventually, she will make her entire public life an open record, but that takes time and the information is coming out in stages.

Poring over those thousands of pages, looking for 'gotcha' material is the typical for the jackals of the American media. It is the very same thing many reporters are currently doing with the tapes of Rev Wright's sermons.

7. they will comb through them with the same zeal that
Ken Starr combed through their life when Bill Clinton was President. No doubt they will find "something" that someone will latch on and turn their lives into another living Hell.
I sure as help hope she doesn't hide her Dildo in her lingerie drawer...because that will be the NEXT thing these carrions want to peep into.
It is sickening.

11. Any Hillary ass-kisser who claims Open Govt & holding Clintons accountable is wrong.
is somehow attacking them is not a Democrat.

And for those Hillary supporters pretending to be Democrats- the rest of us KNOW how corrupt the Clintons are and we demand they be held to the most BASIC standards.

This has nothing to do with her lingerie or Ken Starr.

The Clintons have not been vetted.

And they are both utterly corrupt.

9. SHE Is the one running for POTUS on her White House experience. And this info BELONGS to the public
They fucking redacted information in her SCHEDULE. They had no right to do that.

Hillary and Bill Clinton are little better than the Republicans.

13. Barbara Bush and Nancy Reagan aren't running for president.
She knows the rules. She needs to release and any widdling you might make of it doesn't change the fact that she and Bill have put a lock
on their papers and returns and are fighting release. More is coming
of Hillary =phone logs= and the information won't be pretty.
