The Time Is Now.
We cannot wait until November to fight. The war is on. Republicans and their surrogates in the media are in the process of "swift-boating" the Democrat most favored to win the election in November. They will not let it rest. They will keep harping until they have destroyed his chances of being elected. Then they will turn on the other.

We can ignore it. We can pretend that it will blow over. But it will not. We must fight them this time. We cannot simply depend on the people to make a wise choice in November. They will not. They will make their decisions on the information given to them by the right-wing surrogates in the media. Don't let up. The battle is now.

The battle is not about just one candidate. It is about the Democratic Party. Let us not rejoice in the attacks upon our present primary opponent. Their aim is not only to defeat the probable Democratic nominee - their aim is to defeat you. This is the time when we must define our enemies very carefully. We must put aside our petty differences and recognize the true enemy at the gate. They are knocking down the doors. Do you fight now or later? The decision is yours.

1. What we allowed to happen to Gore and Kerry should be a lesson.
Fool me thrice?

Never again.

3. You can't call it swiftboating ...
when it's the truth.

Obama brought it on himself by exercising poor judgement, refusing to deny it was racism, standing by his pastor while throwing white people over the side and admitting that he lied.

None of what MSM is saying is untrue. Watch the videos.

5. It is swiftboating...
Just like they lied about John Kerry. He didn't earn his Silver Star or his Purple Hearts. He was a traitor to our country. George W Bush was the true hero. Yeah, right!

Just as they are lying about Obama now. He is a racist. Because he is a friend of Reverend Wright. Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, and Patrick Buchanan are not racists. They are only telling the truth.

It appears they have already knocked down the doors and are amongst us?

7. FIrst of all...
They suggest that he must agree with Rev Wright if he did not get up and walk out. He is as guilty as Wright for the things that were said. Those words may as well have come out of Obama's mouth. Bullshit! And you know it. To agree with the right-wingers that Obama is a racist but that Hannity, Limbaugh, and Buchanan are right in their judgements is nonsense. To suggest it is about his "judgement" is also nonsense. Because at the same time, you are willing to overlook the judgement of all of them in agreeing to the war in Iraq. I guess that "judgement" failure is OK? Get real.

... witnessed bodies in space zooming light-years away, yet directly over your head?

That's about how far over your head this OP is obviously traveling.

(Edited to add: Ooops! Forgot to say "great post, Kentuck!)
