Drinkocrats vs. Beveragicans: The Non-Issue of Electability
Edited on Thu Mar-20-08 02:20 AM by andyrowe
Both sides have claimed that the other candidate has electability issues because they haven't already reached the "magic number" of delegates. I'm calling shenanigans on this. Couldn't it just be that we have two highly electable candidates that the nation is having trouble choosing between.

As an example imagine the two sides were electing the national drink for the next four years. The two parties: the cold drinkocrats vs. the hot beveragicans. The beveragicans have already selected some awful stale coffee with artificial sweeteners. Our side, the drinkocrats, are still trying to decide between cran-grape juice and diet cola. Sure the polls show coffee running strong (pun intended) against both cran-grape or diet cola, but that's because people have yet to learn how stale the coffee actually is.

Of course I'm biased for the juice as I have come to learn that this Obamcean Spray cran-grape stuff is really good for us. But the diet Clinto-cola while probably flat (pun unintended) and full of the same toxic sweeteners as the coffee will still probably win out in the end against stale old McCainwell House (especially after 8 years of drinking Shrubful of Nuts).

Edited to close parenthetical.

Click here for coupon for buy one/get one...*upper left hand drop down* It's good for mixing with a lot of things, has some fizzle, and isn't real popular.
