Ron Paul was the anti-Obama. Here was a guy who inspired a large contingent of the population who supported him on ISSUES. If you were to ask one his supporters why they were for him, they would say he’s for the gold standard, he’s against an interventionist foreign policy, he wants to abolish the Department of Education and the IRS, etc. Ask an Obama supporter why they are for him and they say, because we need change and he wants to end the war.
