42. Not really.
When the other team's pitcher intentionally throws to hit batters even though she knows it'll incite a brawl, I'd say that's far, far worse.

I so look forward for the glaring disparity between the two to become obvious. It will, hopefully, be interesting to see the direction Obama takes his campaign should he become the nominee.

32. Like I said, he can transform the country for the better.
Reagan was evil like no other. Worse than the current one in there. But he was successful in transforming the country ideologically, which is far more important than petty day-to-day political squabbles. Obviously Obama is far, far from Reagan ideologically, but he has the potential to fill a similar, if paradoxically opposite, role.

27. Res Ipsa Loquitur
This is the first time Clinton has held a statistically significant lead in over a month. She last led Obama in Feb. 7-9 polling, just after the Super Tuesday primaries. Since then, the two candidates have usually been in a statistical tie, but Obama has held a lead in several of the polls, most recently in March 11-13 polling.

Obama's campaign has been plagued by controversial remarks made by his former pastor, Rev. Jeremiah Wright. Obama delivered a major speech on race Tuesday to try to move beyond the controversy. The initial indications are that the speech has not halted Clinton's gaining momentum, as she led by a similar margin in Tuesday night's polling as compared to Monday night's polling.

17. America is ruminating...
...but in the end--Obama's inspiring leadership, his intellect, his vision for unifying
this country and moving us forward--will win the day.

It's legitimate to question what Obama's pastor said. That's been done. It's over.

Obama clearly stated that he does not agree with his pastor's statements, and every
decent American understands that a person cannot be held personally responsible
and punished for the words of someone else.

We move forward, with Obama's brilliant vision for tacking the tough challenges that
this country faces.

America will not chose fear, manipulations, war and attacks over what Obama presents
to America---authentic change that is more than a campaign slogan and a new day
for America.

By the end of this weekend--we will see significant bounce for Obama, in addition
to what we see here.

40. You know what is getting old?
An entire contingent of rabid snakes attempting to position things like
"faith", "hope" and "vision" as atrocities to be ripped to shreds.

Hillary knew she couldn't inspire any of those things, so she had to
perform a political vivisection on them. Attack. Attack. Attack.

One campaign is moving forward. The other is plotting in the dungeon.

33. Wait until August...
Right now McCain is benefitting from the two Democrats going at each other with meat axes. McCain's idiotic gaffe in Iraq the other day went entirely unnoticed, and nobody in the media is really paying attention to him.

Once the Democrats have their nominee, and McCain has to start explaining his "Bomb Iran" policy or his "100 More Years In Iraq" policy or his "I Really Don't Understand Economics" policy, he going to melt like ice cream in the desert.

36. nah -- the MSM will hardly notice
any gaffes by McCain. Same thing they did for Bush for 8 years.

Chrissakes, he waved to blind people, didn't know blacks lived in south america, still says NUKLUAR, falls off tricycles, gets unexplained black eyes, when he visited Spain he didn't know the name of their president, et al and hardly a bad word from the MSM.

McCain appears to be home free so you might as well get used to it.

The MSM doesn't control the message any more.

During the Obama speech on Tuesday, the combined viewership of Fox, CNN and MSNBC was 4 million (which was considered a ratings bonanza). Over at YouTube, 17 million people have watched that "Leave Britney Alone!!!" video.

41. Obama was gaining ground....
Edited on Thu Mar-20-08 12:58 PM by TwoSparkles
He kicked the stuffing out of Hillary in Mississippi and Wyoming.

Then, he went on to gain nine more delegates in Iowa , as the caucus
process continued--and many Edwards voters and some Hillary supporters--supported
Obama. In nearly every Iowa precinct, Obama gained more supporters since the first
round of the Iowa caucuses that were held in January.

Nice more delegates. Interesting. Doesn't that negate any gain Hillary garnered
with Ohio?

He was also ahead in the national polls, against Hillary.

The Hillary campaign tried to prop up this ridiculous notion that Obama
was in a "downward slide." They disseminated their manipulative talking
points to the media, declaring an epic slide for Obama.

Did you notice that those false Clinton talking points abruptly came
to a halt--after the Iowa caucuses? Those talking point lies were smashed
to smithereens, with the best weapon---the voices of the the American people
who slid into Obama's corner--not out of it.

Why are you still hanging on to lies that even the Hillary campaign has abandoned?
