Did the media finally find their Obama "Dean Scream" moment? |
|
sure looks like it. A totally meaningless inexplicable branding iron they can use to destroy him no matter what. This time, it didn't even have to be him that did it. And our vast population of mean spirited idiots lap it up like its ice cream.
Fuck them and their lousy propaganda system. They don't care who they hurt. They already did it to Hillary. Can you say "Vince Foster?" Now both our candidates have the Taint.
And no matter how many babies McSameasBush eats, to the media, it'll always be the Breakfast of Champions.
To quote a certain persona non grata, "God Damn the united States--As long as it is treating its people bad." Yeah--throw whoever said that into the ninth circle of Hell.

1. I was a Deaniac in 2004, and I say NEVER AGAIN! |
|
Because of my experience with the Dean campaign, I've been afraid since I started supporting Obama that everything would just fall apart. And this happened just when I was starting to get my hopes up that maybe this time one of the good ones would win out. But I am not ready to give up, and I am more determined now than ever. Four years ago I got demoralized after New Hampshire and stopped actively volunteering and donating...not this time. Not this year.
We let Dean go down in 2004 because of a character assassination by the media. Are we going to make that same mistake again? This Deaniac will fight to her death to stop Obama from suffering the same fate, and all of us as Democrats should do the same.

7. Good for you! I'm inspired just reading your post |
|
I wasn't for Dean in '04 (I supported Edwards right from the beginning) but I can understand your disappointment. I think it's been proven that the "scream" was used by the media as character assassination and, as you say, WE SHOULD NOT ALLOW THIS TO HAPPEN AGAIN. We the people choose our candidates, not the punditocracy.
NOT THIS TIME!!!!

I was a Dean fan too and I'm going to do all I can to keep them from getting away with doing the same thing to Obama. I refuse to give up. This is too important.

2. Are they really still playing "God Damn America" again and again? |
|
I figured everything had moved on by now. There's nothing left to talk about.

5. Fixed Noize certainly thinks so ... the other networks are waking up |

This story has gotten coverage for longer than many would have expected, but it appears to finally be burning out (except over in Hannityland). EITHER of our candidates is going to be tarred and feathered in the GE by the Repugs -- even with the politics of this year leaning toward Dems, there's no way we were going to get a free ride. We still have over a month until Pennsylvania and longer for other states, which is a LIFETIME in politics.
