4. Close enough
He's said he will not sign off on the Michigan re-vote because some of the Democrats voted Republican so their votes counted. Yeah, that really passes the smell test. Don't count the votes of hundreds of thousands of Democrats because there's a remote possibility that one or two might have switched their affiliation in time to vote Republican in the primary. It's BS, plain and simple. No way this isn't voter disenfranchisement and is the main reason I will not support Obama. It's a values thing.

10. THe main reason you won't support Obama?
That's ridiculous. Many Democrats voted repube in the MI Primary because they knew their delegates wouldn't be seated.

We can't have people voting in both Primaries, can we? Or their vote counting twice?

25. It's more than a remote possibility and they didn't have to switch affiliation
Kos (Markos Moulitsas of DailyKos) advocated voting for a Republican in the Michigan primary because the Democratic vote wouldn't count and Democrats might as well have a say in picking the easiest nominee for us to run against. I would expect that a fair number of people followed his suggestion. That would not involve doing anything to officially switch a party registration, because Michigan has an open primary.

11. There is NO fair way to seat the MI and FL delegates, now.
Even a re-vote will be tainted. Not matter how it is done.

The delegates cannot be seated as is. The original vote was tainted. The state officials screwed over the voters of MI and FL. Not Obama or Clinton. The voters in those states need to vote their state leaders out of office if they have a gripe.

They delegates must remain unseated, unless it goes to a 2nd ballot at the Convention.

And don't hand me the tired shit about losing the GE, because some voters in two state got their feelings hurt. Bullshit. The Democratic voters of MI and FL are intelligent and self-respecting enough to support the Dem in Nov. The percentage of "protest" voters going to McCain or sitting out, will not be enough to kill the Dem chance.

18. How was the original vote tainted?
Because the people didn't campaign and Obama chose not to be represented? What a joke.

22. The original vote was tainted in both states.
Obviously in MI, many candidates weren't on the ballot. And, in both states, the voters KNEW their votes wouldn't count. Many Democrats voted in the puke Primary to monkey wrench them. Many stayed home.

If a voter knows their vote is not to be validated, how can you say it was untainted?

20. Now? Today? Right this moment?
Wouldn't have gathered that from your vile mischaracterizations of Hillary's *consistant* view on counting FL and MI.

I said from the beginning Obama was *the only one* who wouldn't count FL and MI.

It seems that has come to fruition.

Also, this proves that Obama is just another politician and all of his talk of changing the way things are done is a bunch of horsecrap.

13. MI and FL broke the rules.
They knew they would be penalized. If the voters have a problem with it, they need to throw their state elected officials to the curb. It has nothing to do with Obama.

14. He wants them but Hillary refuses because she wants her way instead.
Remember, Obama has repeatedly said that he wants to seat the two states in a "fair" way which is 50-50 split but Hillary refuses to and wants her tainted, unfair amounts of January to count which everyone: MSM, DNC, etc thing that is silly...

Re-do in Michigan is fraut with uglies such as not allowing people who voted in January to vote again...that's not fair.

21. Actually, Obama was for seating them both when they didn't matter.
Now that they matter he has no problem disenfranchising them even though he has the delegate majority, the popular vote majority, and both require the superdelegates to win.

In other words, this is going to backfire in his face.

She didnt seem to have a problem with it when she thought the race would be over Feb. 5. Now, all the sudden, she cares about voters rights? Whats the difference?
