Will Americans' BETTER ANGELS respond to Obama's message??
Clarence Page just asked this on Hardball ~ and it really is THE question of this election.

Will we act on fear or hope, on pettiness or wisdom, on what we really think and feel or what the msm dishes out???

2. Seeing as how this is America, that should be a self-answering question.

7. If they are ALLOWED to hear it
That's a BIG problem.

Clinton is trusted by the Energy Transnationals, Megapharms, Big Insurance and the Military Industrialists...

They have total power in the media... walking the tight rope between maintaining the illusion of a "free press," while covertly exercising FULL EDITORIAL CONTROL.

What I've seen in the last two days... I've seen before a few times.

It's not looking good kid.

8. I hope.
This whole election is about HOPE.

If anyone can coax out and help us manifest our "better angels," it is Barack Obama.

9. The response of CNN has been a real downer
They seem to be prepared to ride this issue right into the ground. Chris Matthews, on the other hand, has really stepped up the issue. He's been a mensch, in my opinion.

12. Yeah, I noticed that Chris made a point of mentioning that the newest numbers show...
..."The Speech" is making a difference.

10. If the response of some DUers to Obama's message is any indication
I'm very concerned with the future of America.
Some very disgusting threads have been started about Obama's speech and they are not the types of threads I would expect from DUers wanting a Democrat to win in Nov.
It makes me very sad.

11. I think the Democratic party will be energized and redefined by Obama's nomination...
...or it will cease to exist if the superdelegates throw the nomination to Clinton. Either way, there will be change ~ it's a time of reckoning.
