Rasmussen - Minnesota: McCain 47, Clinton 46.... McCain 43, Obama 47
In Minnesota, the latest Rasmussen Reports telephone survey shows Barack Obama leading John McCain 47% to 43%. The election poll also shows McCain essentially even with Hillary Clinton, leading her by a statistically insignificant 47% to 46%.

Obama leads McCain by eight points among women but trails by a single point among men. Clinton leads McCain by twelve among women but trails by seventeen among men.

Obama leads McCain by fourteen points among unaffiliated voters while McCain leads Clinton by nine among those same voters.

19. You really should read his campaign speeches
he ran on the same platform as Obama, the same ideas, the same anti war etc.... I smell deja vu here.

8. 'Disenfranchised' or not
Is MI really so foolish to vote for a guy who admits he "knows nothing" about the economy?

16. I think we will have to see
you had Florida all wrapped up since twice as many Dems voted as repukes. Florida had a record turnout in the primary. Now I am not so sure the Dems can take the state. Michigan won't decide the election but Florida is likely to once again. But, they don't count.

20. There have been record Dem turnouts
all over the country. I think you are going to see a lot of purple states swaying blue this year. As has been noted Obama is currently raising cash at TRIPLE McCain's rate. He's going to have a huge financial advantage, and a huge organizational advantage on the ground.

The fact is most of the Republican party is holding its nose with McCain, and Obama has better pull with Independents. The only thing that will energize the Repubs is a Clinton on the Democratic ticket.

He'll take hits with Wright for sure, but he has still has a TON of advantages over a guy whose "strength" is defense and foreign policy, yet he can't keep Shia's and Sunni's straight.

6. This isn't the general election

The republicans haven’t started using Rev Rights statements against Barack and so forth. If Barack is the nominee, those numbers will change.

17. And don't forget
Obama is raising money at TRIPLE the rate of McCain.

The public is going to see a LOT more of the senile moments than Rev. Wright.

18. THE BIG STORY HERE IS Obama is still leading after the worst week of his campaign. Amazing.
If any Obama supporters were worried about the Wright scandal this pretty much shut that down..
Obama has a strong base of supporters and is quickly closing the gap in Pennsylvania with several weeks to go. If Obama wins Pen the supers will be coming out in droves for O.
