Howard Dean & his 50-State Strategy + Barack Obama + grassroots LIKE US...
...add up to a new era in American politics ~ one that puts the government back into the hands of its citizens and the people back on the road to active citizenship.

I am grateful to have been part of the Dean and Obama campaigns ~ and feel so hopeful this Easter weekend. YES, WE CAN!

1. GOBAMA! The Neocons in power fear grassroots and those who use them.

5. Citizens who know their own power are dangerous to entrenched interests...
Dean woke people up with his YOU HAVE THE POWER message, and showed how we can empower ourselves and our candidates by connecting and donating through the internet ~ and Obama has taken it to the next level with YES WE CAN and his coalition-building efforts. It really is amazing and wonderful!!

7. There's little the DNC can do if states CHOOSE to unseat their own delegates.
It's a 50-state strategy...two states can't seem to play by the rules.

20. Your posting the pic with the words, "Aren't you proud?" was nothing more than the kind of slime...
Edited on Sat Mar-22-08 01:20 PM by polichick
...the Clinton campaign is resorting to ~ the kind of slime that took them off the map to their own political future.

Look at the woman. She is grinning ear to ear. She is proud.

There's no context given that might shed light on her intentions.

10. I was born in Michigan and grew up in Florida & still love both...
...but rules are rules ~ and the people in those states are bigger than the whiners on this board would have us believe.

As you (hopefully) know, Dean's 50-state strategy will be well-supported by the coattails of Obama in November!

25. The repukes did this 20 years ago...
they executed a massive grass-roots effort to lure Democrats away from the party and made use of the newest technologies to compile voter lists and guarantee a steady source of money.

It may take beyond this election for the Democratic Party to reverse this but at least the effort has begun and has paid dividends to boot!

We could put so many state and local dems into power based on his candidacy. Clinton, not so much.
