Richardson calls out Clinton adviser
Richardson calls out Clinton adviser

CNN) – Bill Richardson criticized a Clinton campaign adviser Friday for suggesting his endorsement of Barack Obama is insignificant.

"I resent the fact that the Clinton people are now saying that my endorsement is too late because I only can help with Texans — with Texas and Hispanics, implying that that's my only value," the New Mexico governor told CNN's John King.

<snip>

In the interview Friday, Richardson also said he called Hillary Clinton Thursday to inform her of his decision to back Obama, a conversation he described as "painful."

"It was painful and it wasn't easy," he said. "I've spoken to others who have had that same conversation and they say at the end, it’s not all that pleasant.

"The former Democratic presidential candidate declined to elaborate further on his conversation with Clinton.Last month, Chris Dodd — another former presidential candidate who decided to endorse Obama last month — said he had a "not comfortable" conversation with Clinton informing her of the news.

1. I'm sure in private...
Richardson and Dodd have been told they will pay for their endorsements.

3. Hillary is not a very nice person. She is more like Nixon...
and more than matches Nixon in paranoia, vindictiveness, and pettiness.

2. These two gentlemen gave HRC the courtesy of calling her before they announced BO support. What do
they get in return? My guess - nastiness and snippy public comments. God help them if she manages to steal the nomination. Boy will she make them pay. She's a public stain on the Democratic Party with her behavior the past month. rec'd

11. Many were thinking a Party compromise might have made her Senate majority leader ...
... but she may be crapping that bed, too.

4. If RIchardson
had endorsed Hillary they would have made a huge deal of it. But he didn't so his endorsement of Obama is meaningless and he needs to be called 'Judas' for it.

My head hurts.

12. They're saying "Richardson doesn't matter" was not surprising.
Though I'd think the media might highlight the hypocrisy of an irrelevant endorsement being so hurtful as to be characterized as "Judas betraying Jesus."

5. And Carville has also attacked Bill Richardson. How shabby the Clinton campaign seems.
It seems almost every day there is something like this coming right from the top of the Clinton campaign.

6. At first I didn't understand why Clinton would have Carville
on her team.

Now I see why, he is leading the dirty tricks and laughing about his tricks at home with his bedmate ~ Mary.

And, guess who she gives up all the secrets to ~

BINGO! The Rethugs

7. Talk about inuendo? You have nothing, absolutely nothing,
except for him saying it was not pleasant. Of course it wasn't pleasant. How must it feel to stab friends in the back like that? I'm thinking not very pleasant. After all, if you can't count on loyalty from "true" and "old" friends, who can you count on?

Most of us know the word for what both of them have done, not to ignore others, like Kennedy and Kerry. That word is "Benedict Arnold".

I'm not sure how any of you think the Clintons will make them pay, as I've heard on here. I'm sure if the Clintons had ever done anything that was nefarious to these people that was not conjecture, we would certainly have heard about it. As a matter of fact it would be blandished all over DU with glee.

One day, good people on here will see how they were duped; but, it will be too late. The trolls will leave quietly, never to be seen again, laughing their asses off. "Stupid is as stupid does".

I hope her candidacy survives the most expert "swiftboating" by the republicans I have ever seen; and complicit with them, knowingly or not, are favored democrats.

No sense in answering this post. I am flitting over to another thread. I don't like being attacked, and it's very simple to just leave.

9. Funny, but the more I learn about Hillary's reactions to things, I think that if she was Presidency
would be as retalitory as Bush's presidency is against those that dare cross him....
