I just had a weird thought - what if McCain chooses Hillary as his |
|
VP? It would piss off both parties but it would probably be a winner. I think he's really just paying lip service right now to his far-right base. I don't put it past Hillary to accept either.

There are a lot of Republicans who don't like McCain. And for years, we've all heard how the R's dislike Hillary, so it wouldn't be a winning ticket.
And give Hillary credit - she IS a Democrat, after all.

8. No she is not. If she were threads like this would never exist. |
|
Hillary is a DINO. She even campaigns like a republican.

It would probably be good for the dems if this happened. Many republicans can't stand McCain, and would stay home if Obama was the nominee. Many more would stay home or vote for Obama if Hillary was the VP, so it would be a win win situation for the dems!

5. I really don't think that could happen... |

She is a Democrat, after all...
A lot of her views are anathema to his far-right base...And to him, as well...
All her feminist views would not endear her to him or his allies...

Much like the Dem convention would never approve a GOP VP for our candidate.

12. Rush Limbaugh would have a cow! |
|
his childish campaighns Rush the Vote and CHaos would backfire...remember that Hilly said to Rush: "Be careful for what you ask for" and a McCain/Clinton ticket would drive the Conservative lunatics off the deep end including Hannity, Rush, Savage, Ingraham, Monica Crowley and send orgasmic vibrations into Ann Coulter's skeletal body :)

Ann Coulter's skeletal body". I just can't think about that without wanting to puke.

10. I've been thinking about that. That or a Unity type ticket. |
|
They'd win, probably easily, and those who don't like would most likely have to pound sand. :scared:

15. How bad is it really going to be against McCain? |
|
He only received $8 million last month (only?). So unless he gets the backing, he may be low on money.
Then there are the 527's. Does anyone know how bad these would be? As an Obama supporter, anything Hillary supporters say I'll take with a grain of salt. I'm just saying freepers need not reply.
