Here is what Bill Clinton meant
Edited on Sat Mar-22-08 03:27 PM by surfermaw
He said there were two candidates that could be out they campaigning, on what is need in the nation like Health Care , the price of gas, the economy , instead of the race mess. This campaign isn't over race, we need someone to run this country, you have your civil right, you can get help to go to school, then get a job, the President of the United States which will probably be Obama, can't make people like you no matter what he does, and he shouldn't be put in th pace to have to tell you, so there I told you for him, maybe saving him some votes. He will have all he can do to stop a war, rebuild the troops, try to bring down energy cost, this nation is in inflation now and if gas keeps going up inflation will rise. We could be hollowing about whit rights but we don't. so forget it, we have handed out for years to help bring up Black people that we held back. WE are tired of the shit, you could send a Black boy and a white boy in to try for a scholarship, and the Black kid will walk away with the help even sometimes with lower grades, what the heck are you looking for Obama to do. Frankly, I bet he has had enough of the shit just like I have and will let it be known as soon as we elect him.

3. Has any campaign ever occurred where a candidate never misspoke or had an awkward phrasing?
Nope - never - but then, if a Dem leader expects latitude from their own party and defense for those awkward moments when they are tired and misspeak, then they should be there for their fellow lawmakers at those moments, too, and not jump in and join the attack against their own.

Right?

7. BC is a gutter master of low down innuendo
referring to a contest "hopefully between two patriotic candidates" following Rev Wright, hand on heart, flag pin, ans his Jesse Jackson SC comments, when speaking to vets in the south is detestable. Hillary supporters should be ashamed --- but they excuse her opposition to the land mine ban so one can't be surprised.

8. garbled mess of a post

10. If you have to explain the joke, its usually not that funny
I think this similarly applies to Mr. Clinton's statements...if you have to tell us what he REALLY meant...
