10. Did you ever think that maybe the party itself was to blame?
For allowing republicans to vote in the primaries and caucuses?

For having a system that prolongs the agony instead of ending it quickly with winner take all?

The obession with process and procedure and the unwillingness to follow the "spirit of the rules?"

It is the very liberal ethos that demands fairness in process that is causing this debacle in the first place.

If Obama or Hillary had won this early in, we wouldn't be having this infighting... heck, if Obama had won early, I wouldn't have had the chance to form the opinions that I have about him and Hillary for htat matter ... but sadly it's too late.

Sometimes time does not heal all wounds - it allows them to fester.

15. Took me a moment to realize that was an abbreviation
for "FOR GOD'S SAKE" instead of a typo -- the OP should revise that.

14. CAN WE CALL A TRUCE- PLEASE?
Do we really want to go into the GE bitterly opposing each other?
With the amount of hatred on both sides, how can we ever get together behind one candidate?
Forgetting your own personal preference for the choice of candidate- can we stop going for each other's jugular?
The Republicans must be so happy with how this is playing out- this has to be beyond their wildest dreams.

It seems obvious neither side is willing to be swayed by the comments from the other- so stop playing the game.
I propose retreating to your respective corner and post with like minded people.
Like any relationship- there is a point where the vile things that are said, can't be undone- and the relationship fails.

I'm afraid if we continue this way- McCain will win- we'll be in Iraq alot longer- there will be a draft- our economy in tatters, etc, etc.
This really is more important than who is your favorite candidate.
I don't want a repeat of the horrible, horrible outcomes of 2000 and 2004- we HAVE TO WORK TOGETHER at some point.
