I think we're going to lose |
|
I have a growing fear that it's already too late for the Democratic Party. The media treat political campaigns like a circus. A sensational devise for generating controversy and ad revenue. The average voter is too lazy or ignorant to understand what's going on and how they're being manipulated. Thoughtful discussion of the issues is a waste of air. The real legacy of the bush administration.

The whole thing is still up in the air. Someone is going to say something that eliminates them or vaults them to the top. That's how it always works. No one cares for substance.

The Republicans are in flames. More than 2/3rds of the country hates Bush.
If we can't win now, then we should just end the Party.

So......We can't be pushed off course by a change in public opinion polls.

10. Just because more than two thirds of the country hates Bush, |
|
doesn't necessarily mean those same people hate McCain or the Republican Party itself.

4. Like Hell!!!...Not this time, sorry, I'll work my ass off for this. |

And I know a lot of people who are going to be voting Democrat for the first time in their life. (my dad for example)
We will win big time, because we will force our message down the right wing's throats and make them choke on their own incompetent record of failure.
They underestimate the power of a united Democratic party, which is exactly what we'll have when we choose our nominee.
McCain is light years behind Clinton or Obama.

If you're so demoralized that you see no value whatsoever in getting the truth out before the American people, then I have to question why you continue to stay here and attempt to demoralize those of us who haven't given up the fight.

12. GDP isnt the world-view by a long shot..it's crowded and skewed |

Buck up bucky! We as Democrats have endured a longer-than-usual primary season, so it's been unusually tough. ALL good and decent things are worth fighting for. One way you can look at it is...our two remaining candidates are JUST THAT GOOD for us, so we are all so PASSIONATE about each one. Im still one of those that still believes that EITHER candidate is better than Gramps McSame/Bush-Lite.
Of COURSE Im going to fight for my fave to win, but it'd be counterproductive to get mad because some supporter one night says something awful/untruthful/nasty about the opposition IN OUR OWN PARTY. Or to think people are lazy...C'mon, in my own lil ol county alone, voter turnout is quadruple and MORE what it was the last Pres. Election! That's productive and wonderful!
Find your fairness quotient..Keep the true enemy where it belongs...OUT of the White House. We are experiencing a nasty, delayed, and worrisome primary this season.
Keep your chin up. Fight the GOOD fight. We WILL be united eventually. And those that are tore up about not getting their candidate in the running for GE? Bye!
I plan on being in DU for many years to come.
Let's Play Ball!
