I work at home and my hours are kinda goofy. Oh well. It was probably rather ugly and would have just brought on a case of heartburn.

I see we lost two posters at least today. I came to DU just after the 2004 primaries so I missed that mess. They oldtimers say it was way bad but I have a feeling we've topped it this year. :(

The 2004 primaries were, without a doubt, a bloodbath, but what's different this time, is this long, taxing, primary season, and we're not running against GWB/Cheney. 2004 was a fight for our lives, as it is this time as well, but since it's not Bu$h/Cheney, people feel as though sitting at home or voting for McCain(!?!) is a reasonable alternative than voting for their less favored candidate. :-(
