MSNBC: "Barack Obama back on top of Hillary Clinton." |
|
Edited on Sun Mar-23-08 08:08 AM by PCIntern
Yeah, whatever...
Isn't language interesting?
The other day, my patient who is a real progressive and big Obama backer in words, deeds, and financially, was telling me how he (Obama) had managed to 'tap-dance' around an issue.
I looked at her and said, "...can't say that." And just stayed quiet.
She had this sudden look of horrified recognition, and exclaimed, "Oh my God."
To which I replied, "Now you see the problem that the McCain Campaign's going to have, should he be nominated."

Tap dance is the least of it. I've heard conservatives talk about Obama "mugging" Bill Clinton.
Oh wait, that was Bill Clinton saying that.

9. Nitrous Oxide use in PA is highly regulated now |

b/c we had an analgesia death some years ago. There's a separate anesthesia permit required, and all kinds of materiel must be in place including resucitative equipment and the like. I personally relinquished (suspended) my permit b/c there just isn't the call for the use of this anymore. Dentistry has come a very long way in 30 years and virtually no one asks me for it at this time. Which is a good thing...there was always some reasonable assertion that personnel who administer gases do suffer ill effects, fertility issues, etc. I believe it to be the case. That's anecdotal, not 'research-oriented'.

7. What a clunky sentence |

Or was it a headline?
But you're right. It's going to be fun as hell watching the wingnuts having to defend their nasty, racist barbs for the next 8 months. I am so ready.
