Ed Rendell: SD should overturn the ENTIRE primary based on "some SUSA polls" |
|
Did anyone else catch Faux News Sunday? Ed Rendell and Bill Richardson face off. (Richardson owned Rendell by the way)
Rendell was asked if it is accurate that Hillary will NOT be able to overtake Obama in BOTH Pledged Delegates and Popular vote.... and he said it was true. Wally asked him how Hillary can win at this point and Rendell responded by cherry picking a few SUSA polls. Richardson semi nailed him on it. (It seems Richardson being a person of integrity didn't go into the interview prepared with cherry-picked-polling to make cheap points)
So this is it... the Clinton strategy..
Obama has more money... Obama has more donors... Obama has won more states... Obama is ahead in more polls... Obama has won more popular vote... Obama has won more pledged delegates...
and Hillary wants the Super delegates to overturn the results of the ENTIRE primary season... based on a SUSA Ohio poll, a SUSA Pennsylvania poll, and the Rasmussen tracking poll?????????????
Why doesn't she just drop out? Why isn't she forced out by now? How can she even run her campaign when she is -2Mil.(calc. her loan in) What are her supporters smoking? Can I have some? How could she overturn the primary and still win the GE
What do you guys think?

3. It's called spin. That's a pretty common practice among politicians. |

Is this your first campaign?

Someone needs to tell Hillary that she could win by overturning the primary's.... but that it's stupid... because she will get spanked in the GE if she wins like that...

10. There's a difference between SPIN and UTTER DILLUSION |
|
They are trying to tell me the sky is purple. They are trying to tell me water isn't wet.
It's a LIE. An ILLUSION that they are trying to create to DECEIVE.

8. I wonder if Rendell even believes what he himself is saying. |
|
This goes for the Clintons and their hangers-on as well. When I see them or their surrogates on the tube, they seem to know, on some level, that what they're saying is bullshit. They seem to know, somewhere in the back of their minds, that HRC probably won't win, but for the most threadbare and distant turn of events, such as Obama getting hit by lightning or being discovered by police as he tries to disappear a dead hooker in an unmarked grave by a lonely stretch of interstate.

14. Rendell's endorsement is important |
|
but it carries some negatives, too. He's 'old school', and a lot of people think he forced Mayor Luke's endorsement. That doesn't play well at all with people I've spoken to.
I'm not surprised he's saying this. Typical stuff from Rendell.

15. Big Ed, though, can be counted on to work for Obama, if and when the time comes. |
|
Above all else, his "old-school" ways are loyal to the Party.

I really wish he never became govenor. He was such a great Mayor in Philly but he's been mediocre at best in Harrisburg. Eddie has no place to go after his term expires in 2010. I think he was hoping for a cabinet position. He backed the wrong horse.
Eddie should stop now and focus on what he does best. Getting ready to give Eagles commentary during the football season.

24. He seems to forget how he won! |
|
When Rendell first ran for governor in 2002, he had very little support from the Party machine. They all supported Bob Casey, Jr. Rendell was seen as a big city liberal who didn't "fit in" with Pennsylvania politics. I wonder how he would have felt if those party bosses overturned his win and gave the nomination to Casey.
