A counteroffensive to Operation Let It Sink...

If you are, like me, someone who is offended by efforts to silence dialogue at DU, then post a response to all responses titled Let It Sink. Let us use Let it Sink against the very people who are using it against DU.

The purpose of the Let It Sink campaign is not clear.

The stated purpose is to let Obama bashing threads sink by not participating. I'm ok with that and wish both sides would let those go.

What I actually see is that pretty much any pro-Hillary thread is subjected to the Let It Sink ploy and the mass ignore policy. This reminds me of Bush tactics - only let yourself hear what supports your position. This I not only object to but am concerned about.

So I am not sure what it is you are proposing.

That would be a novel idea, for some. It would even be EASIER, too! Unless, of course, a poster's whole goal is to repetitively inflame and insult. In which case, the "Let it Sink" tactic is justified, and there would no counter offensive to it that also fits the goal of repetitive inflaming and insulting.
