Poll question: Throwback Poll
Edited on Sun Mar-23-08 04:38 PM by FlyingSquirrel
The latest DU polls are fairly useless now 'cause the results are pretty much always the same. Just wonderin', since so many have converted to Obama, how strongly they now favor him.

So... If it were now a two-person race between Obama and any of these candidates - who would you choose?

1. Biden.
I still believe in my heart of hearts he was the best one for our country at this time.

5. First Kooch, then Edwards now Barrack Obama
> Now that I am seeing this man in action, I am quite pleased that things turned out as they have...well except for the now infamous kitchen stink, Senator Clinton allowed to happen.
Kucinich anchored our values, Edwards also helped anchor some of our values. Both in their own ways tugged our party back to the left at a time when America has drifted sooooooo far to the right. I feel that we will be pleasantly surprised when we find out just how strongly a President Obama understands those very values. I suspect that we progressives will find quite a bit to love about this man.

10. Tough poll...
Knowing what I know now I would have been an Obama supporter from the beginning, but the addition of Gore to the list sort of messes things up a bit.

I really, really, like Al Gore, but I'm not sure he's the right candidate at the right time this year.

12. I was a total Edwards supporter
Edited on Sun Mar-23-08 05:13 PM by Raine
but after he dropped out I became completely committed to Obama. Even if Edwards re-entered the race I'm sticking with Obama...I'm sold. :-)

Edit: changed one word

13. I was surprised when I realized this myself
I was totally Edwards, but agree that if he entered the race again, I am sold on Obama. Would love to see an Obama/Edwards ticket or Obama/Gore ticket.

16. Still Biden. BUT Obama was always my #2.
He and Joe a philosophically identical, I believe, and while Biden is still my fav due to his track record, knowledge, experience and courage, Obama is a close second by virtue of the added symbolic magnitude and inspirational quality of his candidacy.

Maybe Obama/Biden? In 8 years Biden will be as old as McCain... (crossed fingers)
