http://www.nytimes.com/2008/03/24/business/media/24fox.htmlEven some rethugs are rejecting the smear campaigns against Obama. Sad to see some members of DU are acting worse than rethugs. Its such a shame. Chris wallace clip: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MiIK8jh3ZCE

10. Well, he only thought it was bad because there was Richardson's endorsement and the Passport issue |
|
He later clarified that he only objected because of those other issues to report. Otherwise, apparently, he'd have been fine with 2 hours of bashing Obama over this -- supposedly (maybe he still thought it would be excessive since he thought there was a good point to the "typical white person" remark).

|
that you are not a hypocrite? Then what are you? A concerned democrat?
You truly believe that Hillary did not do pot in her teens? Not even once?

attacking her. Not one post on Obama's past. On HIS actions.
The hypocrisy is amazing. As is the fact, that you don't even see it.
Obama gets a pass for drug use (how much, what exactly?) We have no clue.
Let's spend the day attacking Clinton on her trips abroad...cause dang, Obama's past is off limits.

18. So when people question Clinton's foreign policy experience you question.. |
|
Obama's drug use?
So you basically had nothing on the man but his own admission to drug use?
Hey at least he did not have to lie about it like Hillary did about her foreign policy experience.

20. Lets talk about his past. You question Clinton's past...why not Obama's? |
|
If past matters to you, shouldn't both of the candidate's past matter? Or is there perhaps something else going on? Perhaps you are all not really interested in the past, but in anything and everything you can use to attack Clinton?
I do not see you dissecting Obama's past.

21. I do not care what Hillary smoked in the past, |
|
I care about the qualities that she has that would make her a better president in contrast to Obama!
Obama is not a saint and he has had mistakes in the past. I and all other Obama supporters are aware of that. He has admitted to his mistakes and regretted them.
When Hillary boosts her past foreign policy experience then she must be questioned for it.
Obama never came out and said vote for me because I have never smoked pot!

14. Look. I have been warning you guys of the press since you started sleeping with them |
|
You were all praising the media (tweety, shultz, foxnews) anyone that would smear Clinton. I said that you were sleeping with the enemy and that the media is propaganda and not a friend to the dems. I reminded you all of how they have attacked the dems for years and helped Bush get in office by treating Gore and Kerry the same why they are treating Clinton.
Obama has had a free pass, until now. You all have very poor memories.

I give you credit for your progress from denial to acceptance, but the rest of your post is one sided ignorance from a hardcore blinded partisan that wouldn't know fair if it bit him in the ass. Now you're trying to tell us how smart you are? Fucking great comedy, dude, but don't quit your day job as a tool.

Yes, the "media is propaganda and not a friend to the dems."
But if you look at every 'controversy' that occurs in journalism only through the lens of the Obama-Clinton fight for the nomination, you're missing the point.
Chris Wallace stepped out of character, he did a bizarro world "shark jump." Only being from FAUX News in the first place, it was a "man bites dog" (or more accurately, "journalist takes a bite out of Murdoch agenda") moment.
(Unless you really believe that "racism" is basically a problem for white people, because of all those afro-centric black folks who "have a chip on their shoulder" and dare criticise American policy. That seems to be the attitude of most of the people in the media, who are still bringing up the Rev. Wright stuff.)

25. Wallace's performance was pure theater |
|
He wants Obama to appear on the show, primarily because he is a ratings boon. And Wallace HIMSELF, on FNS just last week, started an "Obama Clock" to count the amount of time it had been since Sen Obama promised to appear on the program back in 06.

27. Obama comes across as very intelligent when Hannity is trying to do the opposite |
|
They have overstepped the line and it's actually giving Barack Obama a great opportunity to express his views on race. The Swift Hortonization of Barack Obama by Fox News is backfiring.
If it was even possible to look more than foolish, seeing Fred Luntz practically make love to Sean Haniity and trying to parse Obama's words beyond recognition surely makes him look like an ass.
