DU; Contact your superdelegates
Edited on Mon Mar-24-08 04:25 PM by lynyrd_skynyrd
Tell them in no uncertain terms that if they vote for that scumbag Hillary Clinton, you will vote for John McCain in the general election. Please note that I'm not advocating you actually vote for John McCain, only that you tell them that to get them to quit stalling and end this nonsense already.

Congresspeople, senators, governors, etcetera are all super delegates. It's time for some action. We all know that

1) Obama has already won the nomination.
2) The Clinton campaign wants McCain to win so that she can run again in 2012.
3) The only reason this hasn't ended yet is because super delegates are not committing quickly enough, and the republican backed media, loving the ratings from this horse race, continues to fan the flames, which gives them pause.

The longer this primary process drags on, the stronger John McCain becomes. This is exactly what Cliton wants and exactly what FOX, CNN, and MSNBC want. We cannot afford to give John McCain a 6 month head start, no matter how horrible a candidate he is. Polls are already showing that Americans are becoming increasingly disgusted with both Democratic candidates. Remember: Diebold only needs a close enough race to rig it. McCain does not need a landslide.

Do something. Pick up the phone, send off an email. It's not too late. End this now.

1. This is not helpful
By all means, contact your superdelegates. However, I'd recommend against calling Hillary a scumbag or threatening to vote for McCain.

Be honest and speak the truth. That should be enough for most of them.

2. Sigh. But I want my super delegates to back Hillary.
So now what do I do?

Are you seriously "telling" me that I need to call my super delegates and ask them to go against my wishes?

6. I am an Obama supporter...
Tell them in no uncertain terms that if they vote for that scumbag Hillary Clinton

...and I reject this rhetoric.

(I do believe we should adopt that as our new standardized response whenever someone on "our side" starts throwing stuff like this around)

11. Actions speak louder than words
Edited on Mon Mar-24-08 06:46 PM by lynyrd_skynyrd
#1 is a fact.

#2 is deduced from Ms. Clinton's actions, as I find it hard to believe that she and her campaign are unaware of #1.

And to people who have a problem with "scumbag", that is a direct result of my utter disgust with #2.

12. #1 Isn't A Fact. It Makes Ya Look Stupid To Say So.
#2 is delusional, and also makes ya look quite stupid.

Overall, you just simply look quite stupid.
