Fmr. Pres. Bill Clinton & Chelsea visit Indiana todayINDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - Presidential politics continue to be the big story around the state of Indiana as Bill Clinton arrives in Logansport for a "Solutions for America" rally in a school gymnasium.
Hundreds of people waited for hours to make sure they get a glimpse of the man who wants his wife to follow in his footsteps.
Bill Clinton spoke at a similar rally just up the road in Rochester. There, too, the setting was a school gymnasium while earlier he made two stops in South Bend along with daughter Chelsea.
The message is that Hillary is the most qualified candidate in the race for President and the Clintons continue to lean heavily on Indiana Senator Evan Bayh who is a co-chair of the campaign.
In Rochester, Bill Clinton campared Hillary to Bayh as he described her plan for dealing with the federal budget deficit.
"Indiana political leaders believe that two and two is four. This is about plain old arithmetic. You cannot borrow your way out of poverty," said former President Bill Clinton.<snip>
