Obama goes on vaca when going gets tough. Signs of weakness in campaign.
Obama is in the middle of a three-day vacation in the U.S. Virgin Islands, following the hit he took following the flap over his former minister, the Rev. Jeremiah Wright.

Some of Wright's old sermons came under fire after a news report this month turned some of his most controversial comments into a YouTube phenomenon. In one, the minister said America had brought the September 11 atta

25. No. He's on vacation because it is spring break. Kids in school.
Spring break with the family. real people take them now. You can also take this as he's so confident with his army of supporters, zillions of dollars and delegate count, he can take a moment for his children and wife. Family. People he loves. SHEESH.

2. *yawn*
You woke me up to tell *ME* that there's an outrage because Obama is on a well-deserved vacation to the US Virgin Islands (which, btw, went for Obama)

Obama: 1,772 votes (89.9 percent)
Clinton: 149 votes (7.6 percent)

So, he's vacationing there to *THANK* the locals and to give them a boost in their local economy.

There's no weakness by doing that....

So your post was a waste.

What a standard to set -- old Hill will not be allowed to take even one day's rest -- evah!

If she does, we can all call it "loafing".

Old Hill can thank her fanatical supporters for that.

68. K. He used to deliver the Chicago Tribune on his ten-speed on Sundays.
As legend would have it, he could deliver 3,000 papers on a 10 speed bicycle in less than three hours. His customers were so impressed by his performance that they tipped him in excess of 25% every month when he came to collect for home delivery.

Just knowing that makes me feel like bowing in his presence, seeing as though I only delivered the Long Beach Press Telegram to 75 people in Norwalk, CA on Sundays, and it took me over two hours just to fold the papers and put them in my bike bags.

Jeez... Can you be more in the dark?

Obama is not used to hard work or working hard to achieve a goal, unless he benefits from it.

You along with many others would not have been able to weather the storm that he has been subjected to. The man like every American deserves a vacation. So what he takes a couple of days off....

Once again as seen on DU over the last couple of months...makeing an issue out of nothing...

Maybe you should focus on McCain and his meeting with the Saudi's .....wait but that's not tabloid enough...

If Hillary were to take a couple of days off to get recharged it really is okay.....

67. When I first heard about
the Obama's vacation, my first thought was GWB. Wasn't it George W. Bush who set the record for taking vacations? From the looks of things, IF (and that's a big IF) Obama gets that far, we might all see even GWB's vac. record get beat.

74. She doesn't?
You seriously want to argue that when 3 of 4 people in Ohio said that "race was an issue" when they voted that that didn't translate into votes for Hillary just on account of being white?

About the people in PA who never watched Obama's speech on race but who HAVE heard about Pastor Wright's comment and aren't even bothering to listen to the speech?

Please. To argue that she doesn't have an advantage as a white person is ignorant.

79. This is a childish post
It is exactly these kind of questions we should be moving away from. EVERYBODY (McC, HRC or BO) has a right to a vacation and we need to talk about the real issues facing this nation.

82. Signs of Intelligence-Bill did the same
Sometimes you need to take a break with your family to recharge you batteries for the upcoming fight.

Or if you get caught cheating on your wife with a college intern in the oval office and the GOP is calling for your impeachment. You need to take some time in Martha's Vineyard.
