Hillary's problem with Tuzla |
|
I'm thinking that the Tuzla incident shows up something a lot bigger than this one incident: Namely that Hillary, even when she knows she is wrong, can't admit it until confronted with hard evidence and until she has to because pretty much no one believes her account. And in denying it before it is obviously incontrovertible, she goes ever farther in her defense and gets more pigheaded.
This indicates to me someone that has the same dangerous character flaw as George W. Bush, the inability to admit you are wrong.
Her hubris is one of the greatest flaws a leader can have. She scares me.

1. Yep. Same with IWR...can't for the life of her truly admit she was wrong, as others have who voted |

5. I actually bought the argument that she was trying to appear "strong" |
|
as the CIC to compensate for being a woman.
Now I see it permeates her personality.

2. The lying and failure to admit a mistake |
|
are both characteristics that she shares with Bush.
She is much smarter than Bush, plus, with Bush, the lying is orchestrated by his minions and puppet masters (represented by Cheney)... Bush just goes along with the program and "catapults the propaganda" (which I'm convinced he heard in some strategy meeting and thought it was a "cute phrase" so he repeated it later).
She has never admitted (unlike Edwards) that the IWR vote was wrong. She has "explanations" but can't just stand there and say "It was a mistake. I screwed up and accept the responsibility for it".
The Tuzla episode (and the half dozen other resume padding incidents that the MSM DIDN'T cover) only point out that she embellishes to outlandish extent... starting with the 30 years of public service bullshit. If she wrote this all down and presented it on a job application (and got hired), she could be fired or even sued over it.

6. Is that a political decision then or an inherent character flaw? |
|
How can it appear in both a husband and wife if so?

7. It's certainly no "blip" |
|
it's a big fat confabulation.
We already got one President who lives in his own reality... we don't need another.

8. It is just the media playing tag team wrestling with the |
|
Democratic candidates. The whole thing is idiotic and illustrates how our candidates are under the Media Microscope being searched for a Dean Scream moment that is then run 24/7, while McCain can clearly not know dogshit about the middle east, stumble publicly and be revealed as an over-inflated buffoon, and his idiocy is seen through a gauze covered lens at a distance.

Compared to completely corrupt and ruinous rule?
You are being diverted by the great distracting noise emanating from the Bullshit Media System. Clue up cowboy.

12. I think the situation with Richardson also shows another flaw...the expectation |
|
that all who surround her must think and walk in lockstep or they are "traitors". I don't want another President who is locked into their own thinking and expects all of those around them to bow to their will or they will be destroyed. I don't see that Clinton is open to any other thoughts but her own and that even when proven wrong, she'll keep going, full steam ahead.
