We have certainly seen better days, but I cannot recall ever seeing worse behavior on this board. But, maybe that is due to the fact we have two pretty good candidates that actually have a chance of winning this time. Since this board was founded, only republicans have occupied the whitehouse.

15. I left after warning others about a certain activist who was later

revealed to have done just about what I said she was doing. So I missed the worst of that ... no sense taking real grief over a virtual community while my mother was dying in the next room.

I closed the non-profit investigative journalism fund I'd founded - there are too few safeguards and I wasn't going to stand for principle by myself.

Yup, this is silly season ... but nothing like the abuse I suffered then. Moderation? I don't think it would have been possible.
