8. Okay then, Carville needs to resign from the human race. The guy's lower than dogshit . . . |
|
Edited on Tue Mar-25-08 10:41 AM by InAbLuEsTaTe
Bill Richardson is a fine, decent guy who, after much thought, decided to back the stronger candidate. That doesn't make him a Judas. Carville, like Hillary, trained at the foot of the master Rove, and the time has come for a different kind of politics. Thankfully, Obama is leading the way.

He's always been a hero of mine. I like his style.
You should check out the documentary "The War Room" if you haven't seen it.
You might disagree with who the guy supports but he did something spectacular in '92.

|
Edited on Tue Mar-25-08 11:02 AM by InAbLuEsTaTe
turn their fire on their own, they lose me. I'm sorry, I can no longer respect the guy after what he said about Bill Richardson. Anyone who can't see the decency of Richardson has a problem.
It's like when Gore turned on Bill Bradley--another decent human being--and said he was going to "rip his lungs out," I had a problem with Al too. I've since forgiven him for all the good work he's done. Carville's got a long way to go before getting back in most people's good graces.
BTW, I have see "The War Room." Excellent insight into how campaigns are won and lost. Carville did a spectacular job destroying the other side. Now that he's attacking our side, I don't like it one bit.

The DLC, in its current form, is a cancer on the Democratic Party. It blurs the line between us & them, and that ain't good.

Carville doesn't work for her - he's just a Democrat who expressed his opinion. That's still allowed - at least until you guys take over.

What don't you understand? Carville doesn't work for Clinton - and until the brownshirt Obama wing of the party takes over, he's still free to say whatever he wants.

17. Saw him give his statement yesterday |
|
Edited on Tue Mar-25-08 10:51 AM by DeschutesRiver
He remains solidly behind what he said. His words made it clear that they thought they had "bought" Richardson, alluding to some things that were not public, but that that was what caused him to say what he did. Wouldn't disclose what it was either, but clear that he felt Richardson was disloyal, given what Carville claims to know about the behind the scenes stuff.
I don't mind Carville like some do - he is one sharp smart man, with an agile mind that I enjoy watching work. I don't agree with him much, but he isn't afraid to call things as he sees them. That said, I think character wise, he is a flipping cheater like those people he hangs with - don't trust him one bit. And this interview confirmed that he is a thug who has been crossed and is delivering Clinton campaign warnings, that I don't doubt he would try to follow up on enforcing. You could tell he thinks his situation is different from Ferrao, Wright, etc because, well, just because. I think he believes that he is bullet proof and different in that no way would someone like him, saying things like this that are just the plain truth, could be forced to distance himself from the candidate. He made it clear that this was a personal message delivered from him to Richardson, and that it had the intended effect (whatever the hell that means to those involved). He isn't as above things as he either thinks or is trying to portray, so might be fun to see how he takes being taken down a notch.
He knows like the Clinton camp does that this is plain over for his candidate. Done, stick a fork in it. And it has enraged him to no end.

25. I don't even get how he justifies it??? |
|
What's wrong with another Dem endorsing another Dem?
He assumes Bill is in debt to Hillary to such a great degree, that he "owed" her his endorsement.
Bill followed what he felt was best for the country and the party.
All James did was make an utter ass out of himself.
