"Let it sink" bothered us so much because it was like group think, you know like Germany in 1938? We oldsters on DU really appreciate our own individuality and don't like to see group think on DU.

I see nothing wrong in pointing out that up until the past week or so, you Obama supporters were incredibly rude, and the most rudeness seemed to come from new posters. That does not mean that you were unwelcome here. However, new people, whether Obama or Hillary supporters, should sit back for a while before they indulge in insults and rudeness to other members. It simply isn't done around here by polite posters.

I never make fun of anyone for not knowing how to spell or how to use words in their sentences. My corrections are done to help because other people, like you for instance, will make fun of them, and I don't want their feelings hurt. I once corrected someone who informed me that he was dyslexic and couldn't type right. Since then, I have taken even more care to not hurt anyone with my corrections.

It doesn't bother me to be corrected, but others are extremely sensitive. Please, be more careful. I could have been one of those persons.
