41. AOL steals money from bank accounts |
|
Edited on Tue Mar-25-08 11:27 AM by goclark
My friend got a computer from Circuit City. He is extremely careful and he never recalled given aol permission to bill his account.
His credit card was stolen in a gas station.
About two weeks later, he received an automated call from aol asking that he update his credit card with them.
When he tried to call, he couldn't speak to a warm body unless he entered his "acct. number." Since he never had an acct. with aol, for days he attempted to contact them.
He spoke to several people in India who gave him numbers that did not work.
Bottom line ~ he filed a FRAUD complaint with the Atty. General's office and BINGO! AOL called to say that he has signed up for aol service with the computer trial. He NEVER signed up for that.
However,Circuit City, and probably others, must give aol your information with/without the trial.
I have worked with him for months getting his money back-- $350 plus. It would have been more but AOL informed him that they only went back 3 years because of the law suit!
Do a search on the web for "AOL and FRAUD" and you'll see.

20. On the same page HRC gets her ass handed to her on whether the Tuzla story |
|
means that she can't use her "experience" argument against Obama any more. So if this page's poll is an accurate barometer of the nation's preference for the Democratic nominee, then it is also an accurate snapshot of the nation's sentiment that she can't use her "experience" as an argument any more.
Right?

|
and they said the same thing last week and they'll say the same thing next week because Baracak Obama sucks to the majority of Americans. Meanwhile ya'll post a "progressive" poll which has Obama leading and assert it has a greater degree of relevance. you deserve to lose for your arrogance alone.

It appears that this AOL online is not scientific, statistical or even a mathematical analysis. The poll seems to have been compiled from individuals who participated for entertainment reasons in order to garner Web traffic
-- aquarius dawning, would you not agree with me, that a carefully sampled representative population randomly selected using scientific extrapolation could have given a far larger impression of integrity regarding your assertion that the Honorable Senator CLinton is "beating" the Honorable Senator Obama in 49 states?
Do you disagree? What are your thoughts?
best regards,
psygon

42. it's still 53,000 people. that's a pretty large group of potential voters |
|
anyway you look at it. I understand the need to deny anything that dries up your wet dream with barack obama but this is still 53,000 people casting a yes or no vote. about 30,000 of them said yes to Hillary. Do you really think that becasue this poll is "unscientific", these people will actually vote for Obama in November? or that a sample group of 53,000 voters is less representative of reality than a sample group of about 1,000 people? furthermore, This may be an AOL poll but I don't use AOL and I'd wager that many of the participants who voted in that straw poll don't either. The, like I, just happened to cme across it really. ya'll are in for a big disapointment come November and we're gonna be the ones saying "we told you so" and then you're really gonna be fucked because the message will be undeniable.

|
I'm all for a fair redo in FLA/MI - but the votes will never be counted as is.
And mainstream America finds Obama far less polarizing than Hillary. I don't get how folks don't see how a Hillary nomination would galvanize hoards of rethugs to vote against her.
