Obama Releases 2000-2006 Tax Returns, Calls On Clinton To Do The Same

Campaign posts seven-years’ worth of returns and schedules on their website. Take a look at them here.

Obama Communications Director Robert Gibbs says on media call that when 2007 is filed, he will post them as well.

Also calls out Clinton for “dragging her feet,” criticizes campaign for only offering target date of three days before Pennsylvania’s primary.

Gibbs on call: “The Clinton campaign has been exceedingly cagey about where they are going to release those tax returns” and have been “dead silent” about the information that will come along with the release.

If there is something they are concerned about, best to give people time to either accept or forget before the PA primary. Just sayin'.

Which is exactly why they've never specifically addressed those questions. Only that she would release her tax return on 4/15. You know she's only factoring 2007 or at best 2006 in that.

If, God forbid, she is the nominee, the republicans will have a field day raking her and Bill over the coals. That's why the republicans are so desperate to have Hillary become the nominee. They have a depot full of ammunition to use against her.

It sounds like they only plan on releasing this past year's return. Otherwise, why would they say they have to wait 'til after 4/15 when THIS year's has to be filed?

her tax returns "around the 15th." The debate in PA is on the 16th. Is that why she is now going to release the tax returns "3 days before the PA primary?" Why did she change the date from around the 15th???
