Maxed-Out Obama supporters: Send Patrick Murphy (PA) some money and thank him for supporting Obama
Edited on Tue Mar-25-08 12:44 PM by democrattotheend
Rep. Patrick Murphy in PA's 8th District won his seat with less than 1% of the vote last time around. He is one of only 2 PA Congressmen who bucked Rendell and the state party establishment and endorsed Obama, and according to http://www.usatoday.com/news/politics/election2008/2008-03-24-Penn_N.htm?loc=interstitialskip">this article, his fundraising has taken a hit as a result. He's also a very progressive Dem...my grandparents live nearby in Sestak's district (PA-07) and volunteered for Sestak's campaign but wish Murphy was their representative because he is more progressive. So I encourage Obama supporters, especially those who have maxed out on donations to Obama, to https://services.myngp.com/ngponlineservices/contribution.aspx?X=U5AXunNWwwcZ2LccAgVqpA%3d%3d">donate to Patrick Murphy and send him a note thanking him for supporting Obama.

Update: Let's add .08 cents at the end so we can track money from Obama supporters.

2. Gotta admire him for bucking the state establishment
Given how vulnerable he is. I met him last year at a labor event, and I figured he did not have a shot. I couldn't believe he and Altmire won.

3. Yeah, he's a terrific guy...
Patrick spoke at the opening of our Obama office ~ and it seems like just yesterday we were holding campaign signs for him. Thanks for your thread!
