While Clinton Delays the Inevitable... |

She needs to not only step aside, but start repair the damage she is doing. By delaying the inevitable, she is taking the focus off of these very important issues (not to mention she is the cause of the division in the party).

1. As long as Hillary insists upon staying in a race she knows she can't win |
|
the more time McCain has to avoid talking about issues like those above. Great job on these links. K&R!

5. And it looks as if today, she's preparing to do significant damage |
|
She's bringing her cronies who architected the racial attacks in Ohio to NC.

if the Primary was wrapped up all this problems would still exist.
Not to mention McCain would still be in the same spot. This Primary can go all the way to the convention and it does nothing to help McCain.
Republicans on a state level are out of money and out of supporters. They have no grassroots organization. They are still tied up in scandals that go back to 2006. They have told a broke and unsupported McCain he is on his own. Polls that question a few thousand people can do nothing to change that.
This race is going to the convention so to keep posting threads of "Stop The Primary. Save Obama" is just pure rhetoric and all high horse.
All the problems mentioned won't get a lick of attention until 2009 or even 2010, so blaming Clinton still running her race is pointless. Everybody knows these problems, the American people aren't fools, they're living it.
If you Obama people want Clinton out, you need to stop your talk and get into action and win Penn.
You need to stop thinking this race is over also. There is a very good possibility she about to make a great run that is going to change public opinion and the will of the super-delegates. There is a good chance of her coming out of the convention as the nominee and going into the GE to bury John McCain.
More important to all the issues you pointed links to, all of these problems of war,of the environment, of the economy, of the housing market , of health care, and of a party divided....AND OBAMA IS ON VACATION IN THE VIRGIN ISLANDS. So even if the race was over today, John McCain would be fine while Obama was relaxing in the sun.
End the retoric...THE PRIMARY CONTINUES UNTIL THE CONVENTION.

17. The problems would still exist yes, but too many people are focused on the campaign |
|
instead of focusing on the problems. These problems are not going away. They become 10 times harder to solve each day. Each day that Senator Clinton wastes, delaying the inevitable, she is taking away from solving these very critical problems. I'm sorry you don't see the truth of this.

18. We all see it the way we see it |
|
I see what you are doing as pure rhetoric, it's not solving problems at all. Both sides want these problems solved, I see the truth as well as you do.
I also know Obama's people paid great attention to the DNC rules for the election and how delegates would be given out proportionally, so their plan from the beginning was to stay in the race until the convention ahead or behind...do you see where I'm going with this?
and finally if the race was over today, how would Obama be attacking McCain on these issues while sitting in the Virgin Island sun? From my point of view, and I understand and respect that you don't share my point of view, saying these issues are not be address because Clinton is still running is just rhetoric and anti-primary.

19. Obama's campaign did pay attention to the rules of the party. But they set out to Win this |
|
as quickly as possible. Clinton's campaign has been a complete and miserable failure and when it was apparent to them that they were not going to win, they decided to change the rules, the goals, the goal posts, you name it.
That is the single, matter of fact, truth. There is only one perspective to it.
And while she is playing games, real problems are going unsolved.
Obama being on vacation has nothing to do with it as you would like to believe. EVERYONE in the party is being DISTRACTED with Clinton's ANTICS. She needs to put an end to it now.
