New NC Poll: O: 55 C: 34; C only has 7-pt lead among white voters!
Edited on Tue Mar-25-08 01:29 PM by book_worm
A week after the Wright controversy Obama has recaptured a large lead in NC leading HRC 54-34. Among white voters Hillary lead's by only 7-points 47-40.

Furthermore Rasmussen has the race in PA down to 10-pts 49-39

2. Exactly what do you mean among white voters??
Is this in contrast to black voters? Is a voter being white significant to you??

3. Yes, it is very significant.
It means that Obama is making in-roads in Hillary's base.

There is nothing wrong with mentioning demographics. That is how polls work.

5. It's typical for pollsters to break down by demographics.
They also crosstab for age, gender, marital and economic status too. This is nothing different from what marketers do.

7. It is significant, because last week he was down by over 20-pts among white voters in NC
so he has closed the gap in what some Clintonites used to call a "black" state.
