6. You can remember things incorrectly, however

in this case I think it would require either embellishing it in private and/or actively imagining the situation differently than ti was. Well, there are a few other things that if you do them repeatedly you can remember an incident far differently than it was, but I don't think we want a President that is inclined to do this. From what I know about how the memory works, and admittedly I am no expert, there is no easily acceptable/forgivable reason for her to remember getting shot at.

To me it isn't that she didn't remember it correctly, it is that she remembers it so radically differently than it actually was. Assuming she wasn't just lying (which as horrible on its own).
