Democratic Party Official: Clinton Pursuing 'The Tonya Harding Option'

March 25, 2008 3:44 PM

l just spoke with a Democratic Party official, who asked for anonymity so as to speak candidly, who said we in the media are all missing the point of this Democratic fight.

The delegate math is difficult for Sen. Hillary Clinton, D-NY, the official said. But it's not a question of CAN she achieve it. Of course she can, the official said.

The question is -- what will Clinton have to do in order to achieve it?

What will she have to do to Sen. Barack Obama, D-Illinois, in order to eke out her improbable victory?

She will have to "break his back," the official said. She will have to destroy Obama, make Obama completely unacceptable.

11. False equivalency from the Clinton Kool Aide set, again.
Every objective observer agrees that the nastiness in this campaign came from the Clinton side, and you're completely unable to provide evidence of the opposite, but you insist that it's okay, and just tough campaigning. I'm sure Rove thinks the same thing.

Six previous posts, and none of you critical thinkers clicked on the link?

And who exactly is supposed to have crapped out this lastest gem of hope, anyway?

13. By all means, instruct me
When one tries to defame someone, one should at least provide a working link, and not whine when one fucks it up.

14. There are about 3 other threads posted
about this story. You don't know how to look it up so you are discounting the entire article.

I mistyped.

9. If you can't give a name then you should
not post this nonsense. I don't believe any high official ever told you that. People on this forum made me hate Obama with a vengeance. Then I decided that if Hillary doesn't win then I would have to vote for him. I don't want to go into next year hating the president I have had 7 years of that. I have made up my mind that you should be ignored.
