Only 1 things stops campaigns: Lack of Cash - will Bosnia/Judas/Wright Recycle dry Clinton up?
Once they are in they are all in. Presidential campaigns only stop when they don't have enough money or stop spending their own.

We don't know how much she has coming in but we know that it is going out faster than it is coming in.

The only reason that this has gone on this long is that there is still money coming in.

http://talkingpointsmemo.com/news/2008/03/obama_outdoes_clinton_in_finan.php
"No one could have imagined it would go on this long, or that we'd have to fight this battle on two fronts at the same time," Obama campaign manager David Plouffe wrote in an e-mail to potential donors. "We've got to take on both Senator Clinton and Senator McCain at the same time."

In a testament to the financial heft behind the Democrats, Obama and Clinton together spent more in a month than McCain has for the length of the yearlong campaign.

WALL STREET JOURNAL

While raising less, Sen. Clinton has been spending at a faster clip: She burned through 92% of her campaign receipts in February, while Sen. Obama spent only 77 % of his contributions.

Even so, the Clinton campaign did cut back on expenses after big donors complained it was spending too much on hotels and catering. Sen. Clinton has begun holding more intimate campaign gatherings at supporters' houses and fewer lavish big events. Staff and reporters flying on her chartered campaign plane are getting cheaper boxed lunches instead of higher-end catered meals.

Staffers are staying at less-expensive hotels, too. In January, the campaign spent $38,000 at relatively plush Radisson Hotels, but only $11,000 at them in February. Spending at Holiday Inns rose to $61,000 in February from $21,000 in January.Top staffers are also being paid less. Communications director Howard Wolfson's consulting firm was paid $267,000 in January, after picking up $421,000 in 2007. In February, Mr. Wolfson got $33,000.

Clinton campaign payroll expenses dropped 24% from January to February, while Obama's campaign payroll remained constant. In absolute numbers, Sen. Clinton spent $2.4 million on payroll in February while Sen. Obama spent $2.6 million.

Sen. Obama reported having $32 million on hand at the end of February that could be spent on the nominating contest, with minimal debt, according to his latest monthly financial report, filed with the Federal Election Commission.

New York Sen. Clinton reported having $11 million on hand at the end of February. Her debts to outside vendors were $3.7 million.
End Quote

February was Clinton's best month for fund raising but she is spending more than is coming in. Obama has already started media buys in various states putting pressure on Clinton to keep spending.

Hillary Clinton will not stop period. The question is what effect will events like the flap in Bosnia, Carvelle's attacks on Richardson and Clinton's recycling Wright have on her ability to raise money.

Who will be the last donor to a campaign that is doomed to lose?

1. Haven't heard too much chirping
On the money. I remember a week before the February close they were saying how good they were doing. I think they are still raising some but it isn't going to be no 35 million dollars.

That 5 million loan stunt can only be done once. After that you start looking like Romney. Not enough interest in you to support your own ambitions.

5. not sure if I understand your point - they are spending close to $ 1 million a day
if the contributions dry up or even slow down they will be out of cash with in a week.

4. Call me crazy, but I am afraid she will outraise Obama this month
She raised a ton of money right after March 4, and he's had a rough month. I hope his fundraising has not slowed. He hinted in an interview recently that it might have.

11. You'll know it when it happens, and Bosnia-gate isn't it.
Bosnia-gate will be a bad story for her for a couple of days, but that sort of thing goes away eventually. It's not going to be enough to make the coffers dry up.

12. they don't need much to go to fumes - especially with Obama spreading the field in so
many states - for some reason it reminds me of Grant spreading the lines against Lee
