Remember, Red. Hope is a good thing, maybe the best of things and no good thing ever dies.

This is a quote from the movie Shawshank Redemption. I watched it last night and that's what I take from Obama's campaign.

Hope is not fear. Hope is not hate.

I think Obama supporters should try to make DU a good place we want to be in. You are no different than a Clinton when you are filled with negativity , fear, or even hate. Why are you calling Hillary to quit the race? If Obama is the winner, he will be the winner, and nothing can stop a good thing. If you have nothing positive to say about Clinton, maybe you shouldn't say anything. Winning is not everything, it's about how you conduct yourself. I think some people don't support Obama for the most healthy reasons and I think some people just don't get it. This place is not a good place. Some people need to grow up.

Get busy lovin, or get busy hatin.

2. Before someone says, "Yeah, what about the Clinton supporters?"
I just want to say I think you're right.

4. We want her to quit because she is not going to be the nominee.
And she is slowly killing the chances of the democratic party in the GE. If she were able to keep the campaign positive, her presence in the race wouldn't matter, similar to the way Huckabee stayed in the Republican primary but kept it positive. But she seems incapable of that kind of class and graciousness. That's why there's so much venom directed towards her on DU.
