Obama Closing In PA!!
So Obama is polling better than he has pretty much EVER polled in PA...and this despite the nonsense they have been throwing at him the past two weeks...it's in the bag, baby...

PPP (D) 03/15 - 03/16 - 56 30 Clinton +26.0

Franklin & Marshall 03/11 - 03/16 - 51 35 Clinton +16.0

Quinnipiac 03/10 - 03/16 - 53 41 Clinton +12.0

1. He will stage a grand upset here
Billary's time is over. So is Rendell's, by the way.
We are working hard for Obama here.

23. That's what I am really hoping for...
an Obama win in Pennsylvania.

If this were to happen - which is probably a long shot - it WILL be over. I think the Democratic Party leadership will rally around him as the nominee so we can focus on defeating McCain in November.

24. In all honesty, no he won't.
But I think it can be close--like within 10 points close.

30. Using the name Billary is showing disrespect for yourself
Your candidate and for Hillary and Bill Clinton. This is something the Rove group came up with and I don't think that kind of post should be allowed on DU, the Rove rhetoric.

3. Great news! Just saw Morning Joe,HC's "campaign manager"
Edited on Thu Mar-27-08 09:01 AM by goclark

He never mentioned Bosnia.
Recall last week it was 24/7 Rev. Wright.

Had clip after clip of her with "huge"-100 people clapping her hands and all these Hillary signs.

Repeating clip of Bill saying " this is politics...etc."

Cherry picking the polls to say they are neck and neck.

For 3 hours, prime morning time, that all we see, just him bashing Clinton and every guest was slanted for Clinton.

FIRED UP and ready to roll in PA!!!!!! :bounce:

4. Don't forget that PA is all DRE - touch screen voting
No matter what he polls, expect him to lose PA by several points. It will unfortunately be New Hamphshire and Ohio all over again.

Unfortunately.

17. you may be right
I don't know what happened in Ohio, but there was definitely some weirdness there. Also true for New Hampshire.

Rendell is a machine guy. It's my firm believe that the reason the Dems went along with the HAVA act which enabled all the DRE's is that they knew they'd have some control over the results, not just the Republicans.

So...i hope and pray for an honest election in Pa. I hope Obama wins, but more importantly, I hope it's fair and honest regardless of the outcome.

Because if it's close at all, it's really an Obama win.

14. That's fine by me.
I like to see good grammar on the interwebs, but I'm so used to bad grammar that my rules have gotten mixed up.

I scored really well in English on the ACT back in the day, but I don't think I would come close to that now.

15. Remember
He's winning the expectations game, he's expected to loose by a wide margin, if he loses by a few percentage points everyone will practically see it as a win.

22. Obama will lose PA by 15%
and it won't matter. Hillary will pick up 25ish delegates and cut the Obama lead to 100. She'll probably also win West Virginia. Of the remaining states though, those are probably the only two she's going to win. We'll go to convention pretty much where we are right now. The delegate race is essentially over and I'd bet that if we end up having all the remaining states vote before someone drops out that the final Obama lead will be within 10% of what it is right now.

Knowing the Democratic party this will then go to convention where, due to her insider connections, we'll give the nomination to Hillary and once again the Democrats will snatch defeat from the jaws of victory in the General.

Call me pessimistic.
