Twenty Five members of Indiana's House and Senate endorse Obama

http://www.wane.com/Global/story.asp?S=8078209&nav=0RYb

(INDIANAPOLIS - WANE) At a press conference in Indianapolis, the Obama Campaign Thursday announced the endorsement of 25 Indiana State Legislators. Leaders from across Indiana came together to speak about their support for Senator Obama's campaign to change politics in Washington, D.C. and bring change we can believe in.

"This election is about the past versus the future and Barack Obama represents the future," Sen. Earlene Rogers said. "The American people are ready to turn the page on the failed politics and policies of the past. I trust Senator Obama to bring people together to help provide affordable health care, revive our economy and bring our troops home."

Rogers cited Obama's work to expand tax breaks for working families in Illinois and his plan to save everyday Americans $2,500 annually in health care costs as key reasons why she had earned his vote.

"I support Barack Obama because he is the only candidate who can take on the special interests, put an end to petty partisanship, and unite this entire nation around a common purpose so we can finally start making progress for ordinary Americans," Rep Jeb Bardon said. Senator Obama's campaign does not accept money from lobbyists or special interests PACs.

5. Run up the score, baby
She's going down...

He's ahead in NC by 20+
IN is looking good. (Anybody have the latest poll numbers?)
He's demonstrably closing the lead in PA.

Make PA close, RUN UP THE SCORE in the other two. Let's end the speculation. Let's cut her last wobbly peg-leg out from under her.

I don't want her beaten. I want her campaign DEMOLISHED. I want a concession speech. I want the convention to be OBAMA-TIME.

14. Ooooooh. That's gotta hurt!
Ok so if we go by the polls and assume he wins NC by 20pts and IN by 15pts. How close does he need to make PA to make his nom. definitive?

And, perhaps more important, if he does win NC and IN by 15-20pts and loses PA by only 10 pts, and thus Hillary does not get the 67% she needs, is it over?

Do you think she'll drop out then? Or the primary elections actually irrelevant to her? Is she going to take this all the way to the convention no matter what happens?

19. I have heard there may be pressure after NC - There still is the Paul trial coming up too........
It is going to be hard on her supporters for her to do it but it would be best for the Party I think for her to drop out after NC. The Repub's are loving this! With the convention at the end of August that means we only will have Sept, Oct, and a few days in Nov. to wrap this up. It has got to invade on her reputation if she stays in until then.

Not to be too conspiratorial but there is a trial coming up later this year on the Paul v. Clinton debacle. Some people think there is nothing to that but the FBI testified about it a couple of years ago, so it isn't just hearsay. Paul was convicted of some trading violations so it is still to be proved.

.........

http://archive.newsmax.com/archives/articles/2004/10/5/155435.shtml

Documents obtained by The Associated Press show an FBI agent told the Los Angeles magistrate two years ago that the government believes Mrs. Clinton's campaign understated its costs for the Paul fund-raiser.

"The event's costs exceeded $1 million, but the required forms filed by New York Senate 2000 ... months after the event incorrectly disclosed that the cost of the event was only $523,000," said the 2002 FBI affidavit, which was unsealed in the summer. "It appears that the true cost of the event was deliberately understated in order to increase the amount of funds available to New York Senate 2000 for federal campaign activities."

The document also said a $366,000 donation to the gala was incorrectly listed as coming from the company Paul co-founded, Stan Lee Media, when it really came from Paul personally.

........

April 25, 2008 there will be more on this trial reported.

6. Great post and good news
Two questions, if anyone knows the answer:

1. Are these folks superdelegates?

2. Didn't Sen. Clinton say she was supposed to win Indiana???

Hmmm

Also, I am an Indian native. I was born in Angola. I've lived in Texas since I was four. But I'm proud of the folks in Indiana!!!
