Feminists: Do you approve of Hillary's intimidation of Pelosi? |
|
Nancy Pelosi is just as big, if not bigger, a contributor to the feminist cause than Hillary Clinton. In fact, I'd say that Pelosi is the more important feminist figure because not only is she the first female Speaker of the House, she also got ascended in politics purely on her own merit as opposed her husband's.
So, what are your guys' reactions to a feminist trailblazer being told to shut up by a cadre of corrupt men?

Second, she shot off her mouth and needs to be hauled in for it.

7. yea - women who "shoot off their mouth" need to be hauled in. WTF? |
|
I think Nancy Pelosi has the esteem and position to "shoot off her mouth" whenever and wherever she feels prudent, and sexist crap aimed at her like your filth belongs in the gutter.

25. Some men don't feel they can claim it |
|
any more than a white person can be a black nationalist or an Asian feel Chicano pride.
I'm on the fence on this issue myself. I'm also uncomfortable being an anything-ist. Isms in general have really f'd up the world.
If it wasn't supposed to be this way, maybe people shouldn't have been so rigid in their identity politics.

If we were talking about Hillary Rodham instead of Hillary CLINTON, would she be where she is now? I have no doubt that Hillary could have gotten elected to Congress on her own merits. But would she be the front-runner for president right now? What about all the other female Congressmen who have been around a lot longer, and who have accomplished a lot more?

Nancy is not a feminist. She doesn't want Hillary in the White House because she wants to be a big fish in a little pond. Feminists want to be a regular fish in a great big pond.

|
Did she allow herself to be "intimidated" into taking opposition and support and defense of the Constitution "off the table?" If so, she's not qualified for the position she holds.
If not, she's complicit. Either way, she needs to go.
"Feminist trailblazer?" :eyes:
She gets no sympathy from this feminist.
